The incest taboo has been explained by geneticists to be a natural phenomenon in chimpanzees and many other animals because of mature males developing tendencies to have sexual intercourse with the animal-mothers. In case of pigs also, there can be the relations of incest observed like father-pigs/mother-pigs having sexual intercourse with children-pigs or pig-siblings having sexual intercourse with each other. Inbreeding is a phenomenon for which the level of incest has grown among animals though adaptation. This is because there have been constant attempts made to ensure the multiplication of closely related individuals from the genetical perspective.
